Marco Reus rejects new Borussia Dortmund contract and puts Liverpool on alert
The Germany international has turned down the latest offer from the Bundesliga outfit, leading to speculation he is set to leave the Signal Iduna Park.
According to the Daily Express the Reds are joined by Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Real Madrid in the pursuit of Reus.
The 25-year-old has a release clause in his current contract which drops to £20m next summer and Dortmund may be convinced to sell in January as a result.

Rickie Lambert disappointed with his own performance v Middlesbrough
It was a thrilling encounter at Anfield in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday as the hosts eventually beat Boro 14-13 on penalties following a 2-2 draw after extra-time.
New £4m signing Lambert was named captain for the night, but despite the honour the striker was disappointed with the way he played.
“I wasn’t happy with my own performance, so that overshadowed the honour of being captain a little bit,” the 32-year-old was quoted by the Daily Star.
Reds target James Milner admits he could leave Manchester City
The midfielder’s current contract at the Etihad Stadium expires next summer and the Englishman has admitted he is considering his options.
The Merseysiders are among a number of sides keeping an eye on developments and Milner could well be available as a free agent in 2015.
“I love it here and would love to stay at Manchester City but first and foremost I am a footballer and want to play football,” the 28-year-old was quoted by the Daily Star.

The defender has spoken out about his side’s relatively poor start to the season and says victory over their rivals could kick-start things.
It’s the first derby of 2014/15 on Saturday and Toure thinks that his team stand a good chance of beating the Toffees.
“I think it will be a tight game but we’re at home and we’ll look to go out fast. We know winning this one would make a big difference,” the Ivory Coast international told the Liverpool Echo.
