Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris

Summer signing Michel Vorm made his Spurs debut in Wednesday night’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the League Cup and the Dutchman did an OK job between the sticks.

However –  as confirmed by Tottenham’s FIFA 15 ratings – Lloris is the best player in Pochettino’s squad, so there is no chance of him missing this game.

Right-back: Eric Dier

Dier has started all five of Tottenham’s league games so far and, with Kyle Walker still out injured, the former Sporting Lisbon man is likely to continue at right-back.

Left-back: Danny Rose

Rose has North London Derby experience, having already lined up against Arsenal four times in Tottenham colours.

Centre-back: Younes Kaboul

As club captain, Kaboul, who scored the winning goal in this fixture back in November 2010, is pretty much a certainty to start.

Centre-back: Jan Vertonghen

Vlad Chiriches has partnered Kaboul in Tottenham’s last two league games and looked shaky on both occasions. Pochettino would be foolish to persist with the Romanian.

Federico Fazio has never played with Kaboul and the pair do not share a mutual language, so Vertonghen really should get the nod.

Midfield: Etienne Capoue

Pochettino is a massive admirer of Capoue, although the Frenchman is significantly less popular with the Spurs fans.

The former Toulouse midfielder could have a huge say in the outcome of today’s match. He will be tasked with making sure his side keep their shape and do not get overrun.

Midfield: Mousa Dembele

Spurs will need Dembele to be at his energetic best. He must also contribute to attacks, as the players in front of him can often lack urgency.

Attacking midfield: Erik Lamela

Lamela made his Spurs debut as a second-half substitute as Spurs lost this fixture 1-0 last September. The Argentina international should get more minutes to impress today.

Attacking midfield: Paulinho

Paulinho started in attacking midfield on Wednesday night and he was one of the few Tottenham players to impress during a dreadful first half. He was substituted on 64 minutes, so he should be plenty fresh.

Attacking midfield: Christian Eriksen

Tottenham’s star outfield player has yet to find top form this term, but he will start, because he possesses the ability to frighten Arsenal’s defence, should he perform to his potential.

Forward: Emmanuel Adebayor

Adebayor is a big game player and he will thrive on the abuse thrown at him by the Arsenal supporters.

Fans are quick to forget average players, so the African frontman, who scored 30 goals for the Gunners during the 2007-08 season, should be flattered by the boos.
