Manchester United preparing £51m double swoop for Juventus duo Angelo Ogbonna and Arturo Vidal
Manager Louis van Gaal has been promised sizable funds for the January transfer window despite spending £151.7m on new talent over the summer.
Italian source Calcio Mercato reports that Juve pair Ogbonna and Vidal are on the Dutchman’s wishlist, with the former coming in to help shore up the defence and the latter adding some grit in midfield.
Van Gaal is looking to agree the deal in principle as soon as possible so that the duo will arrive at Old Trafford as soon as the window opens on January 1.
