It’s another step up for the game engine over last year’s title, but the real treat this time, comes in the presentation.

All twenty Premier League stadiums are available, and players are now equipped with an ’emotional intelligence’, which means players react with threats and smack talk when on the receiving? end of a two-footed horror challenge, while teammates’ facial animations show? real contempt when their striker misses a sitter.?

The whole experience is completely immersive and even Allan McInally’s frequent goal updates have only served to increase the realism.

Passing is far smoother, even though it still is quite easy to give the ball away, meaning that you must be on top form at all times to make sure you advance toward goal.

After last year’s dip in form, FIFA allowed the PES series to catch up slightly, but gamers will be pleased to know that scoring is not so much of an ordeal, and the computer’s A.I doesn’t waste chances when attacking your goal either, meaning that the games are far tighter.

In a bizarre way, though, FIFA needs PES to up its game, as well, as it will cause the folks at EA Sports to fix those minor bugs faster in order to keep an ultra realistic game experience.
