Sami Khedira to force January move to the Premier League from Real Madrid

Reds target Khedira is ready to put several English sides on alert by trying to force a move to their top tier in the New Year, according to the Mirror.

The 2014 World Cup winner is in the final year of his current contract at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and therefore Madrid may be forced to sell in January if they want to make any money on the midfielder.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen to sign Khedira, although his current wages of £200,000-a-week could act as a deterrent.

Rodgers on alert as FC Barcelona’s Dani Alves admits he wants to play in England

Alves has revealed that he would like to play in English football when he leaves the Nou Camp, which could be next summer when his current deal expires.

The right-back has been monitored by both the Merseysiders and Manchester United and would arrive with plenty of top-class experience.

“Next year I’m moving to England. I will play in the cradle of football.  This will be my last season at Barcelona,” the Brazilian told Brazilian daily O Globo.

Former Paris Saint-Germain stars says Edinson Cavani is unhappy at the club

Jerome Alonzo has revealed some news that has put a number of Premier League sides on alert.

The former goalkeeper says PSG ace Cavani is unhappy at the Parc des Princes and Rodgers, the Gunners and United are all keeping an eye on developments as a result.

“We no longer recognize Cavani. He looks sad, his eyes no longer sparkle,” Alonzo told Le Parisien.

Reds’ loss to FC Basel is crucial says Cristiano Ronaldo

The Merseyside outfit and Madrid are in the same Champions League group and face each other twice in the next two games in the competition.

On Wednesday Los Blancos maintained their 100% record by beating Ludogorets, whilst Rodgers’ men lost to Basel and Ronaldo thinks this could be crucial.

“I think it’s a deserved win. We had a lot of chances and they had not so many good ones. As Liverpool lost I think this win could be a big monet,” the 29-year-old was quoted by Inside Futbol.
