AS Roma manager hints Kevin Strootman could join Manchester United

Roma boss Rudi Garcia has softened his stance on the future of Strootman, who is being strongly targeted by Louis van Gaal.

“Is Strootman for sale? You’ll have to ask our president,” the 50-year-old was quoted by the Daily Express.

Nani looking to make his loan move to Sporting Lisbon permanent next summer

The winger had fallen out of favour at Old Trafford in recent times and as a result was allowed to leave for Sporting in the summer.

The 27-year-old may well have played his last game for the Red Devils now and could return to Portugal permanently in 2015.

“I don’t know [if I will go back],” Nani was quoted by the Independent.

Good news as Phil Jones could play against Everton

The defender could be welcomed back to the starting XI this weekend for the Premier League clash with the Toffees, reports the Mirror.

Jones has been out injured since picking up a hamstring problem whilst playing for England against Switzerland in their Euro 2016 qualifier.

Van Gaal will be pleased that the 22-year-old is available, with unproven youngster Paddy McNair having to feature in the last match due to the number of injuries.

Rio Ferdinand dubs David Moyes as ’embarrassing’ but says he’s still happy to talk to him

In Ferdinand’s new biography the former United defender describes Moyes as introducing ‘negative play’ and that his style was ’embarrassing.’

Yet despite this outburst the current QPR centre-back says he is always happy to speak to his former manager.

“I’m saying that he’s a gentleman, a great man. As I said, I’ve never had any bad words to say about him at all in that respect as a person,” the 35-year-old was quoted by the Daily Star.

Red Devils want Southampton physio Matt Radcliffe

Radcliffe is regarded as one of the best physios in English football and van Gaal wants him to help improve the current injury crisis at the Theatre of Dreams, according to the Daily Mail.

Nine first team players are out of action at the moment and as a result some unknown and inexperienced faces have been seen in the starting XI.

Radcliffe would replace the long serving Rob Swire, who retired over the summer.
