CaughtOffside takes a look at this weekend’s 10 Premier League matches and predicts the outcomes using a combination of stats and gut feelings…
Hull City 1-3 Crystal Palace
Palace have scored 13 goals in their last six games, while Hull have conceded 13 in their last five.
Leicester City 2-0 Burnley
The Foxes are hot at home and Burnley haven’t scored a goal in well over 10 hours of football.
Liverpool 1-1 West Bromwich Albion
West Brom are in good form, having won three on the spin. The Baggies have taken seven points from their last three trips to Anfield too. This could be very tricky for the Reds.

Sunderland 1-2 Stoke City
The Potters recorded a 2-1 win at the Stadium of Light in the League Cup last month. A repeat result is a distinct possibility.
Swansea City 3-0 Newcastle United
Newcastle have not won an away league game since March and they are unlikely to change that stat this weekend. Swansea have a team full of pace and power and they should destroy a Magpies side who are really low on confidence.
Aston Villa 0-3 Manchester City
Villa have lost 3-0 to Arsenal and Chelsea in their last two games. Another thrashing could well be on the cards when the Premier League champions come to town.
Man United 2-2 Everton
United have won their last two home games, but Everton are much better than QPR and West Ham. The Toffees are a stronger all-round team than the Reds Devils right now, but their tiredness following a trip to Russia on Thursday could stop them claiming all three points.
Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal
Chelsea are better than the Gunners in every department and, although a repeat of last season’s 6-0 thrashing is unlikely, the Blues should dominate and win very well.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Southampton
Spurs are notoriously bad after their Europa League outings, but they were at home this week and they made 10 changes, so there really shouldn’t be a hangover. With Pochettino facing his former club, there is likely to be a buzz around White Hart Lane and a fired-up Tottenham should get the three points.
West Ham United 2-0 Queens Park Rangers
QPR are without a win in their last five Premier League London derbies. Buoyed by a 3-1 win over Liverpool and a creditable 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford, West Ham should have too much for the Hoops.
