Dani Alves wants a Premier League move and Manchester United are favourites to sign him
The FC Barcelona right-back has admitted he will be leaving the Nou Camp next summer and that a switch to England is next on his agenda.
Louis van Gaal is keen to sign a new player in Alves’ position with Rafael the only natural candidate currently, although the 31-year-old would prefer rivals Manchester City, according to the Mirror.
However, the Citizens do not want to sign a player who rejected them back in 2o1o and that is why the Red Devils are leading the chase.

United to spend £95m more in January on Radamel Falcao and Arturo Vidal
It’s set to be another transfer window of big spending for the club as a double South American swoop is being lined up.
According to the Daily Star the 13-time Premier League champions are prepared to sanction a £95m outlay on a permanent deal for loanee Falcao and Juventus midfielder Vidal.
The striker is available from AS Monaco for £43m, whilst their are hopes La Bianconeri will be convinced to sell with the lure of a whopping £52m offer.

Cuadrado almost left Florence in the summer before finally agreeing to negotiate a new contract with the Serie A club, but that has now been going on too long for the midfielder.
La Viola are only willing to offer wages of £50,000-a-week, whilst the player wants £70,000-a-week, according to the Daily Star, and United have a chance to swoop as a result.

Since the Dutchman took charge back in July he has brought in many new initiatives to try and get the club back on track.
This has included training three times a day, which although uncommon – twice is more regular – has been used by van Gaal at times, reports the Daily Star.
Beds have also been installed at the training ground as well so players can rest between each workout.

The British record £59.7m signing may have left Champions League football behind, but sees his career at the Theatre of Dreams as progression.
Di Maria was signed from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu over the summer and the Argentine plans to stay at his new home for years to come.
“Leaving a club like Real and coming to as big a club as Manchester United makes you grow as a player and helps you progress in your career,” the 26-year-old was quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
