Manchester United Predicted Line Up vs Everton: McNair To Stay And Mata given Chance To Impress

How Man United could line up to take on Everton in the Premier League.

Manchester United have a golden chance to push on from last week’s narrow win over West Ham and claim their first back-to-back victories of the season. Everton are out of form, too, but Louis Van Gaal’s task has been made more difficult by Wayne Rooney’s suspension, and below is how we believe they will line up to take on the Toffees.

GK: David de Gea

Perhaps the most consistent member of the squad at the moment.

RB: Rafael

The Brazilian is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance this season despite the team’s poor form, and will be called upon to provide more service to the club’s strikers.

CB: Paddy McNair

The youngster will keep his place in the squad despite Tyler Blackett returning from suspension.

CB: Marcos Rojo

Not the ideal circumstances for him to begin his career, but he’ll be required to put in a big performance to keep Romelu Lukaku quiet.

LB: Luke Shaw

Still finding his feet at United, he can go a long way to putting things right with a top performance against Everton.

DM: Daley Blind

Will be required to get things started from deep as well as break up any impending Everton attacks through the middle.

RM: Antonio Valencia

Likely to get the nod ahead of Ashley Young, Valencia will need to be at his best to convince Van Gaal to include him more regularly.

LM: Angel Di Maria

United’s wild card, anything good that the side create will likely come from him.

AM: Juan Mata

A big chance for the Spaniard to stake his claim for a spot in the side in Rooney’s absence. Can be expected to take the opportunity with both hands.

ST: Robin Van Persie

Coming into form at the right time, will remain United’s most potent threat.

ST: Radamel Falcao

Still yet to score, a goal against Everton would go a long way towards his confidence.
