Arsenal International Roundup: 12 Gunners Stars In Action Including Mesut Ozil & Alexis Sanchez

The stars in action from the Gunners during the international break.

There is now a short break from domestic football as the international fixtures take hold and here are the Arsenal stars in action for their respective countries to watch out for.

Alexis Sanchez.

The forward joined from FC Barcelona this summer in a £35m deal and will be competing in friendlies in Santiago with Peru on Friday and then Bolivia on Tuesday.

Colombia

David Ospina.

Another South American who arrived at the Emirates Stadium this summer and Ospina will be between the sticks for his nation against El Salvador on Friday and then Canada on Tuesday – both in New Jersey.

Costa Rica

Joel Campbell.

Manager Arsene Wenger promised this 22-year-old more game time this season after an impressive 2014 World Cup campaign, but that hasn’t happened and Campbell will have to make do with the upcoming friendlies with Oman on Friday and Korean Republic on Tuesday.

Czech Republic

Tomas Rosicky.

The veteran attacking midfielder will be wanting to help his team to Euro 2016 with qualifiers against Turkey on Friday and Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

England

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere.

The most representatives for a single nation if for the Three Lions where all three stars are likely to play a significant part against San Marino on Thursday and then Estonia on Sunday.

France

Laurent Koscielny.

There would be more players from North London in this squad of it weren’t for injuries to Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud, so Koscielny is alone against Portugal on Saturday and and Armenia on Tuesday in friendlies as the French are hosts.

Germany

Mesut Ozil, Lukas Podolski.

The reigning World Cup champions begin their qualification campaign against Poland on Saturday and then the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday.

Poland

Wojciech Szczesny.

The Poles take on Germany on Saturday with Szczesny facing club teammates Ozil and Podolski and then Scotland on Tuesday.

Spain

Santi Cazorla.

Cazorla will be looking to help the Spaniards get back on track following a disappointing World Cup with qualifiers against Slovakia on Thursday and Luxembourg on Sunday.
