Argentina

Angel di Maria, Marcos Rojo.

The £59.7m club record signing di Maria has been greatly impressing from his move from Real Madrid and along with fellow newbie Rojo will be wanting to maintain that good form in friendlies against great rivals Brazil and Hong Kong.

Belgium

Marounae Fellaini, Adnan Januzaj.

Although injured for much of the season Fellaini is fit to play for his country in qualifiers against Andorra on Friday and Bosnia & Herzegovina on Monday, whilst Januzaj will be looking to get some much needed game time.

Colombia

Radamel Falcao.

The loan signing from AS Monaco scored his first goal for his new club against Everton on Sunday and the striker will be wanting to continue that streak in friendlies with El Salvador on Saturday and Canada on Wednesday.

Ecuador

Antonio Valencia.

May not be a regular in Louis van Gaal’s starting XI currently, but the winger is a stalwart for his country still as they take on the USA and El Salvador.

England

Wayne Rooney.

Unusually there is just one United player selected for the Three Lions, although admittedly Phil Jones and Chris Smalling would probably be there if they weren’t injured and Rooney will be looking to lead his nation to victory against San Marino and Estonia.

Netherlands

Daley Blind, Robin van Persie.

With van Gaal now in charge there is a slightly bigger Dutch contingent, with Blind joining from Ajax over the summer and he and van Persie are taking on Kazakhstan on Friday and Iceland on Monday in their qualifiers.

Northern Ireland

Jonny Evans.

Has struggled with fitness and form this term, but having won their first match the Northern Irish will need the experience of Evans against Faroe Islands and Greece.

Scotland

Darren Fletcher.

Was promoted to vice-captain this year having finally recovered from a bowel condition, but Fletcher’s poor form means the 30-year-old cannot even get into the starting XI of late, but will feature for his country against Georgia and Poland.

Spain

David de Gea.

Finally it is just one Spaniard with Juan Mata missing out and de Gea will probably have to watch from the bench as the reigning European champions take on Slovakia on Thursday and Luxembourg on Sunday.
