The Houston Texans will be looking to move clear at the top of the AFC South on Thursday night, but they will have to find a way stop Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts.

Running back Arian Foster complained this week about the short turnaround after playing on Sunday, but after topping 100 rushing yards for the third time this season with two touchdowns in the loss to the Dallas Cowboys, he is in great form.

Nevertheless, the Texans will be looking to avoid a fourth straight loss while the visiting Colts will be in search of their 10th consecutive win.

The Colts (3-2) have outscored Jacksonville, Tennessee and Baltimore by 105-47 in their last three games, and much of that has been down to the play of quarterback Luck.

Luck leads the NFL with 1,617 yards and 14 touchdowns but he is also tied for the league lead with six interceptions, however, an increased effort from the defensive unit has ensured that Indianapolis have bounced back from a disappointing start.

After yielding 819 yards, forcing one turnover and recording just one sack in the first two games of the season, they have given up 892 yards, forced nine turnovers and posted 11 sacks during their three-game winning streak.

As a result, the Colts are certainly the form team heading into this clash, with the Texans disappointing after their fast start to the season. However, with JJ Watt within the ranks, they will fancy their chances of winning at home.

The last time these two teams met the Colts ran out 25-3 winners back in December 2013, and Indianapolis lead the series 20-4 overall which suggests that it will take something special from the hosts to deny them this time round.
