World’s Top Strikers Poll: Manchester United Ace Surprisingly Beats Luis Suarez And Neymar To A Place

Readers of the Sun voted for the winner.

British newspaper the Sun has run a Twitter poll to decide who the five best strikers in the world are. Its hard to argue with the results, although the order might irk some.

Clearly there aren’t too many Barcelona fans following @TheSunFootball

The Paris Saint-Germain striker has been tearing apart Ligue 1 defences since his arrival in France in 2012, scoring impressive goals but never really answering the questions over his ability to play well consistently against the big teams.

A real surprise here, with arguably the greatest player in football history unable to crack the top three strikers in the world.

The Chelsea ace has been in red hot form so far this season, but has done well to be voted third best in the world after only two seasons of success at the top level.

Another surprising result, with Manchester United’s undoubtedly brilliant Falcao slipping in at second in place of stars such as FC Barcelona duo Neymar and Luis Suarez.

Hard to argue with this one. The Real Madrid goal monster continues to score hat-tricks at the rate that most strikers score goals.
