The ‘non-flying Dutchman’ is one of the most technically gifted footballers to ever grace a pitch. He had no pace, but his vision and close-control enabled him to create chances for teammates at will. Bergkamp scored himself too – and is perhaps best known for the effort for his country against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup, and the legendary turn and finish against Newcastle in the Prem.
