Teams are always building for the future, and the ten players below are among the most promising young strikers in the country. How many of these stars will be scoring goals for fun in the Premier League somewhere down the line? Some of them of course already are, these are the top Premier league strikers aged 21 or under:

10) Isaiah Brown (Chelsea)

A 17-year-old who made a league appearance for West Brom during the 2012-13 season, making him the second youngest player to ever play in the division. He was picked up by Chelsea during the summer of 2013, but has yet to play a first team game.

9) Adam Armstrong (Newcastle United)

Another 17-year-old who has already played four Premier League games for Newcastle, and starred during his team’s 3-2 League Cup win over Crystal Palace last month. Scored lots of goals for the England youth teams.

8) Samed Yesil (Liverpool)

A 20-year-old who has previously starred for the German youth-team. Made an appearance for Bayer Leverkusen in 2012, but has yet to play in the Premier League for Liverpool, with his solitary appearances coming in the League Cup.

7) Sam Gallagher (Southampton)

An impressive 19-year-old who scored his first Premier League goal in March against Norwich City. He has made 18 appearances in total for the Saints, and is an England youth team international.

6) James Wilson (Manchester United)

Burst onto the scene at the end of last season with two goals in a victory over Hull City. An 18-year-old England youth team international who will be looking to continue his development again this year.

5) Yaya Sanogo (Arsenal)

A 21-year-old French youth team international who is yet to find his feet with the Arsenal first-team, but has shown plenty of potential, particularly in pre-season – when he scored four times in a friendly with Benfica.

4) Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Steadily growing into an important player in the Tottenham team, with three Premier League goals thus far. A regular goalscorer for the England Under 21’s, he is improving at a rapid rate.

3) Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion)

The top English goalscorer in the Premier League so far this season, with five goals in seven games. He could be a Tottenham player by early January, if they can force through their £15m move.

2) Connor Wickham (Sunderland)

The 21-year-old hit his best form at the tail end of last season, when his goals fired Sunderland to safety. While he is yet to recreate that during the current campaign, he will be hopeful of a strong year.

1) Romelu Lukaku (Everton)

A firmly established first-team player, who has already demanded around £50m worth of transfer fees due to moves to Chelsea and then Everton. He already has 34 Premier League goals to his name, having also starred for West Brom on loan.
