The Spanish giants could now be set to let more big names go this January, with the club seemingly looking to rebuild as they consider the futures of players who will surely now attract interest from top European clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

It remains to be seen if every one of these eight players will actually leave all at once, but recent reports from various souces suggest that there are a number of first-teamers in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad who could be considered for sale for the right price, which is likely to see some movement, possibly to the Premier League.

The eight players whose Real futures are in doubt are as follows:

1) Sami Khedira

Linked strongly with Arsenal in recent times, it could finally be that Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira will make the £11m move to the Emirates Stadium this January, according to the Daily Express.

2) Gareth Bale

Already the most expensive player of all time, Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale could break the world transfer record again after being linked with an astonishing £90m move to Manchester United, according to the Metro.

3) Iker Casillas

A player badly out of form at the moment, Real Madrid may let their long-serving goalkeeper Iker Casillas leave the club this January, with Arsenal and Liverpool interested, according to the Daily Star.

4) Karim Benzema

Another big name at the Bernabeu, French striker Karim Benzema has been linked with a surprise exit from the club amid rumours that Arsenal and Liverpool are chasing him, according to the Daily Star.

5) Isco

With Real Madrid keen to sign Javier Pastore from Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Liverpool are on alert again as it is thought that Spanish playmaker Isco could be let go this winter, according to the Daily Express.

6) Alvaro Arbeloa

Real Madrid’s versatile full-back Alvaro Arbeloa is another player whose future is in doubt, with Arsenal linked with a move for the experienced Spaniard, though it is thought he is keen to fight for his future at the Bernabeu, according to the Daily Express.

7) Fabio Coentrao

The Daily Express reports that Manchester United are said to be on alert for the possible signing of long-time target Fabio Coentrao, with the Portuguese international not always first choice for the Spanish giants.

8) Asier Illarramendi

Finally, Spanish source Fichajes.net claims that out-of-favour Spanish midfielder Asier Illarramendi is another Real Madrid player on Arsenal’s radar this January, along with the likes of Khedira, Isco and Arbeloa.
