1) Juan Mata/Kevin Strootman
Manchester United are known to be desperate to sign AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman, and recent reports have suggested they could sacrifice Juan Mata to do so, with the Italian giants interested in signing the Spanish playmaker.
2) Arturo Vidal/Ezequiel Lavezzi
Recent reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain could look to beat Manchester United to the signing of Juventus star Arturo Vidal by offering Ezequiel Lavezzi to the Turin side in return.
3) Gonzalo Higuain/Lucas Leiva
Liverpool are eyeing up a move for exciting Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain as it looks like he may be available this summer, with reports of a £22m bid plus Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva.
4) Lukas Podolski/Julian Draxler
A deal that has been mentioned as possible in the past, Arsenal’s renewed interest in Schalke starlet Julian Draxler could also present them with an opportunity to offload backup player Lukas Podolski this January, as he seeks an exit after falling out of favour in the Gunners starting lineup.
5) Olivier Giroud/Edinson Cavani
It has been claimed that Arsenal could offer Olivier Giroud to Paris Saint-Germain as part of their ongoing efforts to sign Uruguayan hit-man Edinson Cavani, who would otherwise cost around £55m.
6) Marouane Fellaini/Ross Barkley
Manchester United’s search for a new midfielder could also take them to Everton youngste Ross Barkley, and they may try offering £27.5m flop Marouane Fellaini a return to his old club to help smooth over the deal.
