Tom Cleverley could return to Old Trafford at the end of the season
The midfielder was loaned to Aston Villa on transfer deadline day after falling down the pecking order at United and many believed that would be the last time Cleverley played for the 13-time Premier League champions.
Yet academy director Brian McLair has revealed that the 25-year-old could well return after his time at Villa Park and may have a future at the Theatre of Dreams.
“You don’t know what’s going to happen because he’s only on loan at Villa. I think he’s a good player,” McLair was quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
