Arsenal – Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean cost big bucks, but has notched two in the Premier League and one in Europe, providing a more consistent attacking threat than Danny Welbeck, although the Englishman has scored a Premier League hat-trick.
Aston Villa – Phillippe Senderos
The Swiss centre-back has totally surprised everyone, and been a rock for Paul Lambert’s men.
Burnley – Lukas Jutkiewicz
The forward’s only scored one so far, but the rest of Burnley’s summer signings have been relatively poor so far.
Chelsea – Diego Costa
Nine goals in seven matches for the Spanish superstar, although world-class Cesc Fabregas has been almost as good.
Crystal Palace – Martin Kelly
The former England international has played very well for the Eagles following a move from Anfield, although James McArthur would have got the nod here had he remained fit.
Everton – Gareth Barry
Signed permanently following last term’s loan spell, Barry’s been the rock in the middle of Everton’s midfield, and been more impressive than £28m record signing Romelu Lukaku.
Hull City – Mohamed Diame
The powerful midfielder has already scored three times since his move from the Hammers, in just four appearances.
Leicester City – Leonardo Ulloa
The Argentine forward has scored five goals so far for the newly promoted Tigers.
Liverpool – Alberto Moreno
The Spanish left-back has been the best of a pretty bad bunch of Liverpool summer signings so far, outlining his potential with a superb solo goal versus Spurs.
Manchester City – Frank Lampard
On loan from New York City, the Chelsea legend scored against his former club, and won the September Player of the Month award for his new club.
Manchester United – Angel di Maria
The most expensive player in Premier League history has so far proved he’s worth every penny. Three goals and assists apiece so far for the £59.7m man.
Newcastle United – Daryl Janmaat
The ‘best’ of a very, very bad bunch. Despite his lack of defensive nous, Janmaat has still been heavily involved, unlike big money Frenchman Remy Cabella and Emmanuel Riviere.
QPR – Niko Kranjcar
Again, none of them have been particularly impressive, but Kranjcar’s become QPR’s most creative midfielder, despite not costing the club a penny.
Southampton – Graziano Pelle
The Italian striker has just won the Premier League Player of the Month award, and the 29-year-old is now starting for his country as a result!
Stoke City – Victor Moses
The Nigerian has found his level at Stoke, and produces a consistently dynamic running option up the flank.
Sunderland – Patrick van Aanholt
The Dutch left-back has impressed since his move from Chelsea, providing one assist, and a powerful aerial presence.
Swansea City – Gylfi Sigurdsson
Bringing the playmaker back to the Liberty was a stroke of genius from Gary Monk, and many pundits are selecting Sigurdsson in their ‘Premier League Team of the Season’ so far, following his six assists in the top flight already.
Tottenham – Eric Dier
None have done too much, but the young Englishman did bag in his opening two matches, while Benjamin Stambouli and Federico Fazio have failed to impress.
West Brom – Craig Gardner
Gardner joined the Baggies on a free, and has been ever-present for the impressive Baggies.
West Ham United – Diafra Sakho
The Senegalese forward has scored a goal in each of his four Premier League starts, a West Ham record!
