Premier League Predictions: Arsenal & Liverpool Tipped For High-Scoring Wins

Chelsea also expected to win well, but Manchester United could slip up at West Brom.

Manchester City 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs lost this fixture 6-0 last season, but they are a lot tougher now – as they showed at Arsenal recently. However, Man City should tire Tottenham down and eventually prevail as comfortable winners again.

Arsenal 4-1 Hull City

The Gunners have not won any of their last three domestic games. However, they should outclass Hull, who have lost each of their previous seven matches against Arsenal, including the FA Cup final that went to extra time.

Burnley 1-2 West Ham United

It is matchweek seven and Burnley are still searching for their first Premier League win of the season. They are unlikely to get it against West Ham, who look like a top-ten team this term.

Crystal Palace 0-3 Chelsea

Palace won this fixture 1-0 last term, but Chelsea have improved greatly since then, while the Eagles have gone in the other direction.

Everton 2-1 Aston Villa

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with Villa. It won’t be easy, but Roberto Martinez’s men will probably continue their dominance over the Villans with a narrow victory.

Newcastle United 1-2 Leicester City

Alan Pardew’s Newcastle showed a fair bit of fight in twice coming from behind to get a 2-2 draw at Swansea City last time out. However, that was not enough to get the fans off the manager’s back. The atmosphere at St James’ Park is not helping the home team right now and Leicester will very much be looking forward to this game.

Southampton 3-0 Sunderland

Southampton are in great form. Prior to their plucky 1-0 loss at Tottenham Hotspur, the Saints had won six on the spin. They should make in seven wins from eight, quite easily.

Queens Park Rangers 0-5 Liverpool

Liverpool are not full of confidence at the moment, but QPR are simply awful. The Reds will be desperate to get three points and, if they get an early goal, Brendan Rodgers’s speedy side could well destroy Harry’s Hoops.

Stoke City 0-1 Swansea City

Just three goals have been scored in three Premier League games at the Britannia Stadium this season. Another 1-0 could be on the cards… Swansea are the better side.

West Bromwich Albion 2-2 Manchester United

Man United have bounced back from their 5-3 humiliation at Leicester City with back-to-back 2-1 home wins over West Ham and Everton. The Red Devils were not fully convincing in either of those victories, though. Furthermore, under Louis van Gaal, United’s away record is horrendous – no wins in four. West Brom are no mugs, having won at Tottenham, smashed Burnley and run Liverpool very close at Anfield. All three results are real possibilities in this game, but a draw is probably the most likely outcome.
