GK: David Ospina – Arsenal

Perhaps a bit harsh on the Colombian, who has barely played. Started once in the League Cup, but let in Nathaniel Clyne’s long range effort.

Defenders:

RB: Mauricio Isla – QPR

Isla was hyped up after the 2014 World Cup, but has disappointed for the Hoops even in his favoured position as wing-back.

CB: Rio Ferdinand – QPR

Ferdinand is on big money at Loftus Road, but the majority of fans are wishing for Nedum Onuoha back in the team.

CB: Dejan Lovren – Liverpool

The £20m signing was supposed to be the missing piece in the Reds jigsaw, but has been a liability at the back so far.

LB: Filipe Luis – Chelsea

The Blues paid over £18m for the left-back, but he still hasn’t started in the English top tier, dislodging Cesar Azpilicueta is clearly not an easy task.

Midfielders:

CM: Sandro – QPR

Not only has the Brazilian disappointed on the pitch, he might also be in trouble off it, with Tim Sherwood the man he fell out with at Tottenham Hotspur, one of the favourites to replace Harry Redknapp.

CM: Carlos Sanchez – Aston Villa

Villa fans will be disappointed that their one big signings of the summer has yet to adapt to the English football.

CM: Remy Cabella – Newcastle United

One of several flops at Newcastle, Cabella has struggled in the league so far, getting dispossessed and frustrated far too easily.

Forwards:

RW: Lazar Markovic – Liverpool

The Serbian is an exciting prospect, but he has so far failed to fill the enormous void left by Luis Suarez’s departure.

ST: Emmanuel Riviere – Newcastle United

The Magpies striker was finally dropped against Stoke City last week and after a series of unimpressive performances, he won’t get back into the team anytime soon.

LW: Mario Balotelli – Liverpool

Everyone was excited for Balotelli’s return to the Premier League, but so far he has disappointed – on and off the pitch.
