Capoue was expected to be bombed out this summer, but he has played his way in Pochettino’s good books and he is now among the first names on the Argentine’s teamsheet.
Midfield: Mousa Dembele
Ryan Mason has started Tottenham’s last two league games, but Pochettino would be wise to bring back the experience and power of Dembele, now that the Belgian is fully fit.

Lamela has shown real signs of improvement this season, but he yet to score his first Premier League goal. He will be given the chance to break his duck at the Etihad.
Attacking midfield: Andros Townsend
Chadli is doubtful, so Townsend, who has the pace to scare City on the break, could come in.
Forward: Emmanuel Adebayor
When he is fired up, he can be unplayable. Keep your eye on Adebayor as he is unleashed on his former club. Fireworks are almost guaranteed.
