Zaha returned to Crystal Palace on loan during the summer.

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock believes Wilfred Zaha moved to Manchester United too early in his career and his time at Old Trafford has stunted his progression, Goal.com reports.

The winger made only two substitute appearances for the Red Devils following his move their last summer and was loaned out to Cardiff City in January.

Zaha is now back at Selhurst Park for a season long loan and he has already made an impression for the club, with one goal and an assist in three games.

Warnock is happy to have the youngster back and thinks the extra coaching he is getting with the Eagles is already helping him get back to his best.

“Wilfried has got to learn one or two things,” he told reporters. “He’s gone to a massive club early in his career where you don’t get a lot of coaching and I think that’s what he needs.

“His attitude is spot on – people question that but his attitude has been super for me.”

Zaha played a part in the games against Newcastle and Burnley but was an unused substitute in Palace’s next three games.

However, that run was broken when he came on against Chelsea and put in an impressive 21 minute display that suggests improvement in his game since he arrived back in south London.
