Louis van Gaal wants youngsters such as Phil Jones and Luke Shaw to play in Under-21s tournament
Next summer the U21 European Championship will be hosted in Czech Republic and the Manchester United manager wants his players there.
Van Gaal thinks it would be useful for the younger members of his squad to gain the experience – regardless of whether they are established at senior level or not.
“It is a very good education. I have said that already when I was a national coach. All my players played in the under-21s for Holland,” the 63-year-old was quoted by the Telegraph.

The current Bayern Munich head coach has revealed that when he leaves the Bundesliga he would love to take charge at the Red Devils.
However, according to the Daily Star, the Citizens won’t let that happen as they want Guardiola as a replacement for Manuel Pellegrini.
The 43-year-old is expected to leave the Allianz Arene when his current contract expires in 2016.

Blind has been instrumental in any success van Gaal’s side have had so far this season, but it is the fame that has surprised the 24-year-old the most.
“I was always used to some attention from the fans but, suddenly, this was crazy. My Twitter and Instagram accounts just exploded the moment I signed for United,” the midfielder was quoted by the Sun.
Juan Mata says team need to maintain positive momentum
The attacking midfielder has said that the Red Devils are playing well currently and need to ensure they maintain those good displays when they take on West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
Mata thinks things are going well after a shaky start to the campaign and wants three more points when his side travel to the Hawthorns.
“Hopefully we will get three more points in the next game but it will be tough at West Brom. It’s always a difficult stadium to go to with a tough atmosphere but we always try to win,” the Spain international told the club’s website.

Van Gaal has sent scouts to watch the right-back as the Dutchman looks to replace Rafael – who has unimpressed so far in 2014/15.
The manager wants a new full-back in January and has also been keeping tabs on FC Barcelona star Dani Alves, who’s current contract expires next summer.
The Mirror reports that it will cost around £15m to sign Darmian.
