The Italian giants seem ready to offload the in-demand Chilean international for the right price in the next transfer window, putting months of speculation to an end after interest from several top European clubs.

Real Madrid have also shown an interest in Vidal of late, though it could now be that United will finally come in with an offer for the player that matches Juve’s valuation.

Louis van Gaal is known to be targeting a top class central midfield player for January, having tried to sign Vidal and others throughout the summer transfer window and failing to do so.

The likes of Real Madrid star Sami Khedira and AS Roma playmaker Kevin Strootman are also high on United’s shopping list, though Juventus’ willingness to listen to offers for Vidal may now see the South American become the Red Devils’ top target in that position once again.

Vidal has been in Turin since 2011, winning three Serie A titles in that time and establishing himself as one of the best players in the Italian top flight.
