Petr Cech – 7

A quiet night for Petr, who went the right way for the penalty and rushed out well late on.

Filipe Luis – 7.5

Got forward well, assisted the own goal brilliantly.

John Terry – 8

Immaculate at the back, and surprisingly raced forward to score the third too.

Kurt Zouma – 7.5

Perfect performance from the Frenchman, who seems to be perfect cover for Cahill.

Branislav Ivanovic – 7.5

Typical marauding runs all game from the Serb, who dived outrageously to win the second penalty.

Cesc Fabregas – 8

Controlled the game masterfully and never looked troubled.

Nemanja Matic – 7.5

Devoured every Maribor attack, set Chelsea’s tempo after Fabregas was taken off.

Willian – 8

Ran the Maribor defenders ragged for the entire game, and could have scored a screamer which crashed off the bar.

Eden Hazard – 9

Tricks, flicks, goals and more from Hazard. The sixth was a thing of beauty, showing perfect control and touch with both feet.

Oscar – 7.5

Didn’t have as long as his fellow attackers to impose himself before he was taken off, but a typically balanced performance from the Brazilian.

Loic Remy/ Didier Drogba – 6.5

Remy looked dangerous and scored in the little time he had on the pitch, Drogba looked a little off the pace and once again wasn’t really able to keep up with the speed of Chelsea’s attacking play.
