Club Tijuana’s American international could miss the rest of the 2014 Apertura in Mexico after suffering a broken foot on Friday.

He picked up the injury just ten minutes after coming on as a sub in Tijuana’s 2-1 win over Ronaldinho’s Queretaro on Friday night.

The midfielder appeared to be on the verge of breaking into Jurgen Klinsmann’s side on a regular basis after playing 49 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Ecuador and playing a further 12 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Honduras.

Sadly, he will now miss America’s November friendlies against both the Republic of Ireland and Croatia.

His side Tijuana are currently 9th in Mexico’s Liga MX, one point outside the play-off spots with four games remaining.
