Liverpool end interest in Victor Valdes after goalkeeper trains with Manchester United
The former FC Barcelona star has been allowed to come and train with Louis van Gaal’s squad as he continues to recover from a cruciate ligament injury sustained in March.
Valdes is yet to find a new club since leaving the Nou Camp in the summer and the Reds were thought to be leading the race to sign the 32-year-old.
Yet the Liverpool Echo reports that after meeting Valdes’ representatives and viewing scans of his knee problem they have decided to pull out of the deal.
