10. Wayne Rooney, Manchester United – 7.06

Starting with the Red Devils skipper – who has missed the last two matches due to suspension – and in his three league appearances to date Rooney has scored three times and provided two assists.

9. Romelu Lukaku, Everton – 7.09

The Belgium international seems to have been a bit quiet this season and his manager Roberto Martinez has even been moved to publicly defend him, but with three goals and one assist the stats tell a different story.
