Ross Barkley is not for sale says Everton manager Roberto Martinez

Brendan Rodgers is among a host of top flight bosses interested in the England international, who has been valued at around £40m.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on Barkley, but Martinez says his prized asset will not be going anywhere.

“As a football club we want John [Stones] and Ross to keep progressing, keep developing and they know they can do that with Everton. And that’s the only thing that matters to me,” the Spaniard was quoted by the Daily Star.

Dutch wonderkid Daley Sinkgraven drawing plenty of interest from England

The 19-year-old has been impressing with Heerenveen in recent times and this has seen the Merseysiders, the Red Devils, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid all take interest, according to the Mirror.

Louis van Gaal in particular has taken great interest in Sinkgraven, although the teenager is unlikely to leave the Eredivisie until the summer of 2016.

The youngster is tipped to be a top-class player in the future.

Concerns over Mario Balotelli grow

It was another poor performance for Balotelli on Saturday as the Merseyside outfit drew 0-0 with Hull City and the striker missed a number of sitters.

The Mirror reports that the Italy international has gone from being considered one of the best players in the world to a forward devoid of confidence.

There are growing concerns over when Balotelli will score his first league goal, with just one solitary strike in the Champions League to date.

Glen Johnson told he can find another club

The right-back’s current contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season and the club have told him he is free to leave, according to Goal.

Johnson currently earns around £120,000-a-week, but his poor performances of late have not warranted earning that much.

Galatasaray are understood to be leading the chase for the England international.
