Milos Dimitrijevic (Sydney FC)

The Serbian now looks settled in his new role in the Sydney midfield and capped off a fine display with a superb long-range goal to help the Sky Blues win away to Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.

Kosta Barbarouses (Melbourne Victory)

Barbarouses terrorised the Melbourne City back four, in particular left back Ian Ramsey.

The Kiwi international laid on three assists as the Victory defeated City 5-2 on Saturday night.

Archie Thompson (Melbourne Victory)

Thompson was just offside for his first goal, but his second could not be questioned as he rounded City goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne to cap off a 5-2 derby win for the Victory.

Nathan Burns (Wellington Phoenix)

Burns was superb against his former club and had a brace before half time. Should have had a hat-trick though as he fluffed a one-on-one with Jets ‘keeper Mark Birighitti.

Besart Berisha (Melbourne Victory)

The Albanian scored his first hat-tick in the blue and white of the Victory and was a constant presence in what was a highly-charged derby atmosphere.
