Blues tipped to land ‘new Eden Hazard’.
Chelsea are being tipped to win the race to sign highly-rated young winger Zakaria Bakkali from PSV next summer, according to Fichajes.net.
The 18-year-old attacker, who has been compared to current Stamford Bridge star Eden Hazard, is one of the most exciting young talents in Europe at the moment after bursting onto the scene in the Eredivisie last season.
Chelsea are one of many top clubs to have shown an interest in the Belgian starlet, and it now looks as though they will see off competition from their Premier League rivals and other top clubs around the continent to bring the talented teenager to London next season.
Jose Mourinho has been keen to push a deal through and it is thought that he has been successful in doing so, though the Blues have agreed to hold off bringing the player to the club in January.
PSV will instead keep hold of Bakkali for the remainder of this season before he becomes a Chelsea player for the start of the 2015/16 campaign, becoming the latest exciting signing by the Premier League leaders.
Mourinho brought in the likes of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas to aid his side’s title challenge this season and is now building for the future with this latest addition.
