The Ballon d’Or bronze medalist had scored in a 3-1 win for the Bundesliga champions. Apparently their opponents’ fans weren’t too happy about this and proceeded to boo him every time he got the ball.
Hamburg have since apologised and the 31-year-old seems pretty relaxed about the incident.
“Fortunately, nothing much happened. It was a difficult situation, I didn’t see him coming,” a smiling Ribery told German TV.
