Napoli say they are not interested in signing Mario Balotelli from Liverpool
The Serie A club’s sporting director, Riccardo Bigon, has denied claims that the Naples side are looking to sign Balotelli in the January transfer window.
The Italy international has struggled since his £16m summer switch from AC Milan, scoring just twice in 12 matches and has already been linked with a return to his home country.
“It’s a rumour told in Spain, England and Italy but I don’t think it is a possibility,” Bigon was quoted by the Mirror.
