Milner has been in great form this year, but is holding out on signing a new deal. He says he wants more minutes, and is threatening to leave if he doesn’t get them. Has been linked to Rafael Benitez’s Napoli, amongst others.

The centre-back is a key part of an impressive West Ham side. His contract is running down, and Arsenal, who are in dire need of defenders, are said to be circling.

Strootman is only just returning from a long-term injury, but his international links to Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal have lead to a constant stream of rumours hinting at a move to Old Trafford. Roma are keen to tie him down to a new deal.

Reus has a €25m release clause, and everyone knows it. Dortmund are desperate now to sell another star player to Bayern, so Liverpool, who have been linked with the German star, have a great chance of getting him.

The flying fullback has said he wants to leave Barcelona when his deal ends in the summer, and some sources say that he has already agreed to join Manchester United then. Plenty of clubs will try and pre-empt that deal in the winter window.

Cech is amongst the world’s best goalkeepers, and to have him sit on the bench for another six months would be a crime against football. Cech has said he wants out of Chelsea, and clubs will be keen to get hold of the keeper in January. Liverpool need a new keeper, but Real Madrid is perhaps a more realistic option, as Chelsea might be reluctant to sell to teams in England.
