GK) Wojciech Szczesny
The 24-year-old has made the number one jersey his own since coming in to the Gunners first team. He won’t be losing the shirt anytime soon.
RB) Mathieu Debuchy
The French right back may be injured at the moment, but after only signing this summer Arsene Wenger should keep his faith in the defender.
CB) Mats Hummels
With Borussia Dortmund performing poorly in the Bundesliga Hummels could be on his way if things don’t turn around. Already linked to Arsenal, he would be the perfect reinforcement for the Gunners defence.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
Koscielny has been a great signing by Wenger, and will be a key member of the side for years to come.
LB) Kieran Gibbs
The young left-back has been in great form recently, earning a call up to the England squad. He is another who will be around for years to come.
CM) William Carvalho
Arsenal have been crying out for a good defensive midfielder for years now, and the Portuguese star has the potential to fill that hole in their squad. Rumours of a move to North London have been growing since the summer.
CM) Jack Wilshere
The Englishman has been getting better and better since having an extended period without injury. Now playing deeper for the national team, the 22-year-old could play the same role for the Wenger’s side.
CAM) Mesut Ozil
The club’s record signing should continue in the team despite having a tough season so far with poor form and injury.
RW) Theo Walcott
The winger has recently come back from injury and looks as fast as ever. If he can rediscover the form he had prior to his injury he should continue in the team.
LW) Alexis Sanchez
The former Barcelona man has made a flying start to life at the Emirates, and his goals and assists will be key for the Gunners for years to come.
ST) Danny Welbeck
Welbeck has been starting this season due to Olivier Giroud’s injury and has responded promisingly to the added pressure. At 23-years-old he will only improve, and could be a fixture in North London next season.
