5. Arsene Wenger, Arsenal

Some Gunners fans may be a little annoyed at the Frenchman’s inclusion as currently fourth spot look like their most realistic finish once again, but with new expensive signing Alexis Sanchez hitting form perhaps this is the sign of a new look side that can spend with the big boys and no longer have to sell their best players.

4. Garry Monk, Swansea City

There weren’t many that agreed with the Swans’ decision to sack Michael Laudrup last campaign and replace him with the unproven Monk – who was a player at the time. Yet with an opening day victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford the 35-year-old has helped the Welsh club to a strong start and what looks like another top 10 finish.

4. Sam Allardyce, West Ham United

Ask most Hammers supporters at the start of the season and they would have picked Allardyce to win the division’s sack race, but West Ham are playing free-flowing football with Stewart Downing in a No.10 role and the Englishman’s side are currently just outside the Champions League places in fifth.

2. Ronald Koeman, Southampton

When five key players and manager Mauricio Pochettino all left St Mary’s over the summer a crisis was predicted for the Saints, but Koeman has bought well with the likes of Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic and the south coast club are flying high in second place after 10 matches.

1. Jose Mourinho, Chelsea

Like him or loathe him there is no doubting that the Portuguese ace knows what it takes to succeed. As the only team in the league with an unbeaten record the Blues already look like clearly favourites to win the title and Mourinho is ready to add yet another trophy to his already packed cabinet.
