10) Sergio Ramos – 9 assists

The only defender on the list, Ramos has got forward and laid on nine goals for his superstar teammate.

9) Kaka – 9 assists

The Brazilian was widely considered a flop at Real Madrid, having arrived for a world-record transfer fee in 2009. interestingly, Los Blancos broke the record again that very summer, with the acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo himself.

7) Xabi Alonso – 9 assists

The brilliant Spanish midfielder controlled Real Madrid’s tempo during his five year stay, having signed at the same time as Ronaldo in 2009. The pair won one La Liga and a Champions League together, before Alonso joined Bayern Munich this summer.

6) Wayne Rooney – 10 assists

Rooney and Ronaldo enjoyed a brilliant attacking relationship during the Portuguese’s stay in England, despite the latter getting Rooney sent off in the 2006 World Cup.

6) Gareth Bale – 14 assists

Unbelievably, the Welshman has already created 14 goals for Ronaldo – despite having only been at the club for a season and a bit.

5) Gonzalo Higuain – 15 assists

The Argentine forward was sold to Napoli last summer, but he forged a reputation as one of Europe’s best strikers during his stay in the Spanish capital.

4) Ryan Giggs – 16 assists

Giggs assisted more Ronaldo goals than any other United player. The legendary midfielder is still ahead of his Welsh compatriot Bale in this list, although we can’t imagine that to stay the same for very long.

3) Angel di Maria – 22 assists

No other player in Europe assisted more goals than di Maria last term, who loved getting to the byline and pulling back for Ronaldo to tap in from the centre. The Argentine left to join United in the summer though, and was replaced by Colombian World Cup star James Rodriguez.

2) Karim Benzema – 25 goals

Despite being a centre-forward, Benzema acts as a creator for Los Blancos as much as does a finisher. His clever holdup play and intricate flicks have created 25 Ronaldo goals.

1) Mesut Ozil – 27 assists

The German playmaker earned a reputation as one of the world’s very best during his stay in Spain, forming a particularly brilliant relationship with Ronaldo. Ozil joined Arsenal last summer though for £42.5m, and has so far failed to reach the lofty heights he previously set himself.
