The highly-rated striker, who has just earned his first call-up to the senior England squad, has been in fantastic form so far this season to see him linked with a host of big-name Premier League sides.

Although United already have plenty of options in attack, it could be that Louis van Gaal is thinking long-term as he considers bringing in this superb youthful talent to replace the ageing Robin van Persie, who has recently been linked with a surprise move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Berahino first announced himself in the Premier League with a winning goal against United at Old Trafford last season, and has looked even better this season as he looks to become a fixture for England and possibly earn himself a big move this January.

West Brom will be determined to keep him at the Hawthorns and are supposedly readying a new lucrative contract for the player in their hopes of fighting off interest in him in the coming months.
