Arsenal Manager Wenger Tells Fans Who Want To Challenge For The Title To ‘Be Realistic’

Wenger saw his side beaten at Swansea City this afternoon.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told fans dreaming of winning the Premier League title to “be realistic”, report the Daily Star, after he saw his side beaten 2-1 by Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium as his ramshackle defence was ruthlessly exposed once again.

Just days after a three goal collapse against Belgian champions Anderlecht saw the Gunners throw away two points in the Champions League, Wenger’s side again lost points as they lost a 1-0 lead in South Wales, with the Frenchman telling fans that talk of a title challenge is a long way off the mark:

“If you want to challenge for the Premier League you have to be a bit more realistic.”
