8) Lazar Markovic, Liverpool, £20 million

Most £20 million signings are expected to hit the ground running. However, after a couple of appearances for the Reds, it is already looking like it will take some time for the Serb’s game to adapt to the Premier League. However, at 20-years-old he has time on his side to prove the critics wrong.
