Here are the top 10 players with the most defensive errors this season, according to Talk Sport:

10) Jordi Amat – Swansea

Two errors in 315 minutes.

The Spaniard has featured just four times for the Swans and has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular.

9) Federico Fazio – Tottenham Hotspur

Two errors in 156 minutes.

Tottenham’s summer signing has already picked up two red cards since joining his new club. Two major errors in just two league games is not a good start for the Argentine.

8) Wojciech Szczesny – Arsenal

Three errors in 990 minutes.

The Pole has been involved in every single one of Arsenal’s league games so far. Although he has been largely solid this season, the youngster is still guilty of the odd moment of madness.

7) Martin Skrtel – Liverpool

Three errors in 810 minutes.

The Slovak is notoriously unreliable and has shown that once again this season. Liverpool’s defence has been shaky throughout the new campaign, and at this point in his career Skrtel should not be making these mistakes.

6)Phil Jagielka – Everton

Three errors in 990 minutes.

The England star has been one of Everton’s stand out performers this season, but is still guilty of a number of defensive errors; one such error even directly led to a goal.

5) Jack Colback – Newcastle United

Three errors in 968 minutes.

The former Sunderland midfielder made the controversial move to Newcastle this summer and during his new club’s disastrous start to the season he has made three errors; one of which resulted in a goal.

4) Mauricio Isla – Queens Park Rangers

Three errors in 810 minutes.

On-loan from Juventus, the full-back is fantastic going forward for Harry Redknapp’s side. As a defender he is not quite so accomplished however, giving away one goal after three defensive errors.

3) Alberto Moreno – Liverpool

Three errors in 810 minutes.

Moreno has been one of the more solid players from the Reds’ crop of summer signings, but his defensive errors have been costly ones leading to goals on two separate occasions.

2) Vito Mannone – Sunderland

Three errors in 810 minutes.

Goalkeepers are not always to blame for their teams conceding goals, but Mannone certainly is. His three errors have each led to a goal, and has consequently lost his place to Costel Pantilimon.

1) Dejan Lovren – Liverpool

Four errors in 990 minutes.

A lot was expected of the Croat after a fantastic season at Southampton, but he has failed to impress at Anfield so far. His errors haven’t always been costly, but he has made a large number of them.
