Divock Origi says he wants to cut his Lille loan short and return to Merseyside
The Reds forward was purchased from the Ligue 1 side over the summer for £10m, before being immediately sent back on-loan for the 2014/15 campaign as part of the deal.
With attack being an issue for manager Brendan Rodgers currently with the likes of Borini, Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert not performing, the 41-year-old would probably welcome Origi back as well.
“Although I agreed to stay with Lille until the end of this season, if there was a chance of joining Liverpool sooner I would take it,” the 19-year-old was quoted by the Guardian.
