Mexican forward Carlos Vela scored twice to seal victory against Netherlands prompting Arsenal fans to blow up Twitter in an attempt to bring him back to the Emirates…
It was the Carlos Vela show on Friday night as Mexico beat the Netherlands 3-2, with the former Arsenal man helping him self to a brace on his long awaited return to international football.
The 25-year-old has been a revelation at Real Sociedad, and many Gooners have expressed an interest in bringing him back to the Emirates. His two goals last night sparked debate once again, and Arsenal fans took to twitter to voice their opinions on whether Vela should be brought back to the Premier League.

The Mexican star was highly rated at youth level with the Gunners, but for one reason or another failed to make the grade with the senior squad. It seems that the style of football played in La Liga suits him far better, but as he is now older and more mature he may not have such a hard time adapting.
There are still rumours of a clause in Vela’s contract which would give Arsene Wenger the right to bring him back to Arsenal for a knock down price. If this clause is really there then fans everywhere will be wondering why on earth it hasn’t been activated.
Even if he stays in La Liga Vela will soon be experiencing the English style of football once again; David Moyes recently taking over as Real Sociedad boss.
