With this in mind, here are the top transfer targets for every Premier League club.

Arsenal, Lars Bender

The top clubs in England are slowly starting to give up on their chase for Sami Khedira due to rumours of a contract extension being offered to the World Cup winner.

As such the Gunners have now switched their interest to Bayer Leverkusen’s central midfielder Lars Bender. He is thought to be available for £19 million.

Aston Villa, Jonas Olsson

With captain Ron Vlaar looking likely to leave the club in either January or the summer, manager Paul Lambert is targeting the Swede as a replacement for the exit bound star.

Burnley, Jozy Altidore

With the Clarets only managing their first win the last week, reinforcements will be a necessity in January. Sunderland’s Jozy Altidore is rumoured to be one on the way to Turf Moor.

Chelsea, Seydou Doumbia

With both Diego Costa and Loic Remy prone to the odd injury and Didier Drogba not what he once was, Jose Mourinho could view the CSKA Moscow man as an extra body up front.

Crystal Palace, Gregor Balazic

With the Eagles in the relegation scrap again this year, they are looking to improve the spine of their side. Slovenian international Gregor Balazic is one player thought to interest the Londoners.

Everton, Joel Campbell

After breaking their transfer records in the summer, Everton haven’t linked to many players in the January transfer window. However, recently there have been rumours linking them to Arsenal’s Joel Campbell.

Hull City, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu

The Udinese midfielder is being targeted by the Tigers. The African Cup of Nations could be a stumbling block though, with it likely Badu will be called up for it in January.

Leicester City, David Accam

The Helsingborg striker has been linked to number of English clubs, including the Foxes.

Liverpool, Andre Schurrle

With it looking like Borussia Dortmund ace Marco Reus is going to a bigger club, Schurrle could be the player the Reds go for instead.

Manchester City, Koke

The Atleti man has been linked to the Premier League for years now. With City possibly looking to throw money at their early season problems, he could be on his way to the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester United, Mats Hummels

The World Cup winner has been rumoured to be leaving Dortmund since the summer, and Old Trafford could be his destination in January. He will cost the Red Devils £47 million.

Newcastle United, Demba Ba

The former Magpie could return to the club in January, according to the Metro.

Queens Park Rangers, Jermain Defoe

Harry Redknapp is chasing a reunion with the former England international.

Southampton, Nathan Redmond

The Norwich City man was targeted in the summer, and he could be on the Saints’ transfer list again in a couple of months.

Stoke City, Aaron Lennon

The winger has found himself unwanted at Tottenham, and may be allowed to leave in the new year.

Swansea City, Kyle Naughton

The defender is reportedly a target for the Swans. Spurs are ready to let him go after signing DeAndre Yedlin.

Tottenham Hotspur, Jay Rodriguez

The England international is yet to make an appearance this season, but his former manager Mauricio Pochettino is still interested.

West Bromwich Albion, Jack Hunt

Currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, the Palace defender has impressed enough to attract interest from West Brom.

West Ham United, Dan Burn

With Winston Reid looking more and more likely to leave the Hammers, Fulham’s Dan Burn could be the New Zealander’s replacement at Upton Park.
