Daley Blind adds to injury woes
Defender Daley Blind picked up an injury in Sunday’s match between Holland and Latvia, reports the Mirror.
Dutch manager Guus Hiddink confirmed that it looked bad for the Red Devils man.
“It doesn’t look good. It is his medial ligament. It could be a strain but also be a tear, so that is a big blow.”
Marcos Rojo forced move to Old Trafford
The Argentine has revealed that he went on strike at former club Sporting Lisbon to force a move to United through, reports the Sun.
It was only an intervention from Juan Sebastian Veron that made the defender stop the action.
“When it seemed the transfer would not happen then I refused to work with Sporting. That was when Veron played his part in the process. He was like a strict father to me, scolding me.
“Veron called me one day when I had refused to train with Sporting and said, ‘Do not be stubborn. If Manchester United wants a player then they will not let you escape. And so I went back — and the transfer went ahead.”

The record summer signing has admitted that he may move to the French champions in the future, reports the Daily Star.
The Argentine nearly moved to Paris in the summer but ended up at Old Trafford.
“It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris. I know I’m still young, perhaps I’ll go to PSG one day. I don’t know how it will all end.”
James Wilson wants first team chance
The young striker spoke to Manchester United’s official website about how it was to train alongside great payers such as Robin Van Persie and Falcao.
The 18-year-old explained how it was great to train with them but they also made it tougher to break in to the first XI.
“Going into training with them is obviously a great experience but on the other hand, it’s a big competition if I’m going to be breaking through into the first team. It’s tough because they’re all renowned for scoring goals at such a high level.”
