Arsenal Target Guardiola And Former Liverpool Boss Among Five World-Class Managers To Come To The Premier League In The Next 12 Months

There have been no sackings as yet, but it’s surely only a matter of time.

Amazingly after three months of Premier League football in 2014/15 no manager has been sacked, but with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all struggling the rumours have started.

The English top tier is a beacon for attracting some of the best coaches in football and here are five world-class bosses who could well be coming to the division in the next 12 months.

5. Rafael Benitez

A well known figure in England having enjoyed a successful spell at Anfield and a less popular interim period with Chelsea and the Spaniard is now in charge of Napoli.

However, Benitez has hinted he will leave Naples next summer and look to replace under-fire Brendan Rodgers on Merseyside after revealing his love for the area.

4. Frank de Boer

Having guided Ajax to four successive Eredivisie titles the Dutchman revealed he would like to manager in the Premier League and was linked with the Tottenham Hotspur position.

In the end Spurs chairman Daniel Levy hired Mauricio Pochettino instead, but with the Argentine struggling then de Boer could be seen in English football sooner than expected.

For some time this maverick German has been touted by sides in England, but as yet Klopp has remained fiercely loyal to Borussia Dortmund.

Yet it can surely only be a matter of time before the 47-year-old becomes fed up with Bayern Munich signing his best players and many clubs would welcome him with open arms.

The Argentinian has many admirers not only for the success he has brought to Atletico Madrid, but the fact he has done it on a fraction of the budget of competitors FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Atleti’s La Liga triumph and Champions League final appearance last term showed that Simeone had transformed them into one of Europe’s elite and has been touted as Manuel Pellegrini’s successor at Manchester City.

Considered by many to be the best manager in world football currently, Guardiola has admitted that one day he will come to the Premier League and the Gunners are hoping they can time it right.

Arsene Wenger may well have run his course in North London and landing the current Bayern Munich head coach would be a great coup for the club.
