Whilst Wojciech Szczesny may have done enough to avoid being dropped there is no denying that the Chelsea man is a better custodian.
Left-Back – Kieran Gibbs
England man is the man for the job and has matured into one of the best Premier League full-backs.
Centre-Back – Laurent Koscielny
When fully fit the Frenchman is still a top notch performer.
Centre-Back – Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund)
We suggest Arsene Wenger stumps up the massive fee needed to bring in the Borussia Dortmund man to replace out of sorts veteran Per Mertesacker.
Right-Back – Calum Chambers
Youngster has filled in for Mathieu Debuchy and has progressively improved and is perhaps a good long term option in the right-back slot.
Defensive/Holding Midfielder – Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton)
Arsene Wenger needs to bring in a quality holding midfielder and the Southampton man is the right player for the job.
Central-Midfield – Aaron Ramsey
Welshman hasn’t hit the heights of last season but at his best is still arguably the best player in Arsene Wenger’s squad.
Left Wing – Theo Walcott
England man is feeling his way back after a lengthy lay-off, time for the Arsenal star to deliver on his obvious potential.
Attacking Midfield – Mesut Ozil
Under a great deal of pressure but the creative midfielder will surely find his feet and justify the club record fee invested in his services.
Right Wing – Alexis Sanchez
Chilean has been a huge success since moving to the Emirates Stadium over the summer and sits on the right flank in our Arsenal attack.
Striker – Danny Welbeck
The England man’s finishing has improved a great deal since being handed regular first team action at Arsenal and we select him as our central attacking weapon over Olivier Giroud.
