Friday’s biggest stories for the Red Devils.
Unsettled Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen is a target for Manchester United
The Belgium international has grown increasingly frustrated at his role at White Hart Lane under Maurico Pochettino and could be open to a move away.
This had led the Red Devils to show interest in Vertonghen, according to the Mirror, as they search for a centre-back to solve their own problems.
Pochettino is unimpressed by the 27-year-old’s attitude, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will not allow the Belgian to leave for less than £18m.
