Premier League minutes per assist top ten

Arsenal – Giannelli Imbula – The Gunners need a powerful holding midfielder and Imbula really fits the bill, he would be a perfect signing.

Aston Villa – Joel Campbell – Villa lack both creativity and goals, something that a loan move for Arsenal winger Campbell could provide.

Burnley – Chris Martin – Burnley need goals and, if he was affordable, the Derby striker has the ability to score them in the Premier League.

Chelsea – Sami Khedira – Chelsea perhaps lack depth in central midfield, so adding an experienced star like Sami Khedira would be a perfect move.

Crystal Palace – Jordan Rhodes – Could the Blackburn striker be the consistent goalscorer that Palace desperately need to move forwards?

Everton – Dennis Praet – A long-term creative midfielder is in order at Everton and young playmaker Praet would be a fine capture by Roberto Martinez.

Hull City – Mathieu Flamini – Hull need some experience in central midfield and, if Arsenal sign a defensive midfielder, Flamini could well be surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium.

Leicester City – Aaron Lennon – Leicester lack a little bit of movement and creativity going forwards, something that Lennon could provide, with the Spurs man desperately needing a move to reignite his career.

Liverpool – Alexandre Lacazette – Lacazette has been in stunning form for Lyon and has both the pace and the goalscoring touch that the Reds so desperately lack this season.

Manchester City – Saido Berahino – City need a fourth striker if they are to persist with playing 4-4-2 and Berahino is a star of the future who would also qualify as home grown.

Manchester United – Ezequiel Garay – Garay only signed for Zenit this summer, but he would be the ideal man to shore up United’s leaky defence if they can lure him away.

Newcastle United – Andre-Pierre Gignac – A consistent centre forward is the one thing Newcastle lack at the minute, could Gignac be that man?

Queens Park Rangers – Kolbeinn Sigthorsson – QPR nearly secured the signing of Sigthorsson from Ajax in the summer and should definitely try again.

Southampton – Harry Kane – There has been talk of a swap deal involving Jay Rodriguez – Kane fits the Saints’ hard-working style perfectly.

Stoke City – Victor Moses – Signing the impressive Moses on a permanent deal is the best thing that Stoke can do this January.

Sunderland – Vlad Chiriches – Sunderland need a centre back and Chiriches has never settled at White Hart Lane – a match made in heaven, perhaps?

Swansea City – Oriol Romeu – Spaniard Romeu surely has no future at Stamford Bridge, but would fit Swansea’s system in front of defence like a glove.

Tottenham Hotspur – Jackson Martinez – Would a move for the Colombian be realistic? Spurs need a striker and transfer gossip has linked them with the FC Porto goal machine.

West Bromwich Albion – Craig Bryson – The Derby star’s ability to add drive and goals from midfield would benefit Alan Irvine’s side greatly.

West Ham United – Nemanja Nastasic – Allardyce needs to start looking at a long term replacement for Winston Reid, could they tempt Nastasic to East London?
